TaxLens Ltd (“TaxLens”, “we”, “us”) is a UK company providing compliance operations software for accounting practices. We are the data controller for personal data processed through our platform.

We collect the following categories of personal data:

- Client data: names, tax references, company numbers as entered by your practice
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information
- Communication data: support tickets, demo requests

We process personal data to:
- Provide and maintain the TaxLens platform
- Sync data with HMRC and Companies House on your behalf

All data is stored on servers located in the United Kingdom. We use encryption at rest and in transit. API credentials for third-party integrations are stored using envelope encryption. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with: HMRC and Companies House (when you authorise a connection), infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service, and as required by law.
